Graduate student Eva Carchidi won gold in the 400m Dash on the final day of the NCAA Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Carchidi joins fellow graduate student Nikki Boon as outdoor national champions at the 2025 championships. She is the first woman in program history to win a national title in the 400m and is the second-ever to do so, joining Daniel Pietsch who won the event for the men in 2016. Carchidi had a memorable race as she ran a program record mark of 53.94 to win in dramatic fashion.
