Junior Aidan Conley went 8-for-18 across four games as the Eagles won their UAA-opening series against NYU by taking three games from the Violets. Conley had at least one hit in all four games as he extending his hitting streak to seven games and led the team in runs scored (8), RBI (8), stolen bases (4) and slugging percentage (.889). He launched his second and third home runs of the season during both ends of Saturday's doubleheader and put forth a monster effort at the plate in the series clincher in which the Eagles won 19-9 in seven innings. In the finale, Conley collected three hits, scored four times, had a double and HR, and drove in a career-high six runs. His three-run HR in Emory's 11-run first inning helped the Eagles increase their lead to 9-5 en route to the 10-run win.
