Junior Josh Zuckerman worked 5.1 innings to earn the win on Saturday as the Eagles topped Covenant, 9-2, in the first game of the doubleheader. Zuckerman retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced, bringing a no hitter into the fourth inning of a scheduled 7-inning contest and did not allow a run until the sixth inning when he was lifted. In the win, Zuckerman allowed just one ER on three hits and three walks and struck out a season-high nine batters.
