Junior Emily Kantrovitz went 3-0 at No. 1 singles to lead the #5 ranked Emory Eagles to a third place finish at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships this weekend in Memphis, Tenn. Kantrovitz earned one of the decisive points on Friday as Emory toppled #3 Wesleyan, 4-3, as she won her match in three sets 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. On Saturday, Kantrovitz was the lone Eagle to win a singles point against #1 Chicago as she beat Sylwia Mikos 7-6, 6-3 and on Sunday, she earned a win against Marissa Markey of #2 Pomona-Pitzer, 6-2, 6-3, as Emory won 4-0. In doubles, Kantrovitz secured a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles with Dakota Fordham against Wesleyan, 6-3, but fell to Chicago's Mikos tandem, 6-3. Her and Fordham were leading 5-2 at No. 1 doubles on Sunday vs. the Sagehens before the match was halted.
