Senior Eliza McPherron went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles as the Eagles completed a 2-0 weekend at home against Berry and #18 Sewanee. On Friday, McPherron was one of two Eagles to post a 6-0, 6-0 result in singles vs. the Vikings as she was a winner at No. 5 and teamed with freshman Rachel Hernandez for a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles. On Sunday against the Tigers, McPherron won decisively once more at the No. 5 spot, 6-1, 6-1, and earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles as she played alongside sophomore Yanire Marte.
