Junior Ben Pearce headlined the No. 2 ranked Emory Eagles in a 2-0 road weekend at #4 NYU and Brandeis. On Friday, Pearce dropped a season-high 28 points in his homecoming as the Eagles handed the Violets their first loss of the season. Pearce added five assists, four rebounds and two steals in the 11-point win while shooting 8-for-15 from the field (4-for-9 from 3pt) and was 8-for-8 from the line. On Sunday, he was one of four Eagles to score 13 or more points, posting 18 points while dishing out six assists against the Judges.
