Sophomore AJ Harris averaged 17.3 points per game as the #1 ranked Eagles went 2-1 in their return from the holiday break this week. Harris scored in double figures in all three games including a career-best 28 points as Emory rallied to beat Union, 771-71, in the finale of the Emory Holiday Classic on Dec. 30. Harris added an average of 6.3 rebounds across the three games, second-best mark on the team, and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds in the win over the Garnet Chargers. Furthermore, Harris shot 50.0% from the floor (19-for-38), was 5-for-16 from long range, and added six assists, five steals and one block.
