Senior Gabrielle Stravach helped the No. 23-ranked Emory women's cross country team to a first-place finish out of 21 teams at the JSU Foothills Invitational in Oxford, Alabama.
Stravach led all 181 entries who competed, registering a 5k time of 18:03 that represented the program's seventh-fastest time. Dating from last year, it is the 10th straight time that she has ranked as Emory's top performer.
The Eagles finished the meet with 19 points, well ahead of runner-up Blue Mountain College.
