Freshman Carrie McIntyre helped the No. 21-ranked women's cross country team to a third-place finish at the North Georgia Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Emory raced to three of the top 10 scoring positions, led by freshman Carrie McIntyre who spearheaded the Emory pack while finishing seventh out of 98 entries with a 5k mark of 19:13.
The Eagles closed out the meet with 55 points. Host North Georgia captured the top spot with 33 points, narrowly edging runner-up SCAD Atlanta's mark of 34 points.
