Senior Dilys Osei was named the University Athletic Association women's track Athlete of the Week following her performance at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships this past weekend in Geneva, Ohio.
Osei reached the podium three times including a memorable performance in the 400m Hurdles as she captured the national title. Osei posted a winning time of 58.98, the third fastest time in Division III history, as she defeated Loras' Bella Solis by .04 seconds. She added a third place finish as part of the 4x100m Relay which recorded a school-record time of 46.37 and was eighth as a member of the 4x400m Relay (3:49.79). She closes out her stellar Emory career as a 7x outdoor All-American and a 10x combined All-American.
Emory as a team finished in seventh place at the national meet as the Eagles posted five All-America finishes as they scored 29 points.
