Emory University junior Beatrice Rosen and sophomore Melissa Goodman teamed up to win the main doubles draw at the Georgia Southern Invite last weekend. Facing Division I and NAIA competition, Rosen and Goodman were 4-0 in doubles matches, including an 8-6 win over Georgia Southern’s Dario Vasekina and Anne Kurzweil to win the draw. The duo also picked up an 8-3 win over Georgia Southern’s Giulia Riepe and Mary Phillips Smith, an 8-2 win over Presbyterian’s Caroline DeLoach and Sarah McBride, and an 8-3 win over Presbyterian’s Greer Ransom and Demi Henschel. Rosen added a third-place finish in the top singles draw, while Goodman finished seventh in the 1B singles draw.
