The Emory University women's tennis team, ranked third in the nation, extended its winning streak to four with victories over Agnes Scott College and Huntingdon College in its home-opening matches on Sunday.

In the opening contest, Emory shut out Agnes Scott 9-0.  Emory's pairings of Zahra Dawson and Lorne McManigle, Sabra Rogers and Tshema Nash and Sara Vrabec and Lindsay Reidenbach all earned doubles victories.  In the singles matches, McManigle, Jordan Wylie, Reidenbach, Nash, Amanda Wikman and Laura Callava all won their contests.

Later in the day, the Eagles defeated Huntingdon 9-0, with victories from the same three doubles pairs, and McManigle, Reidenbach, Nash, Vrabec, Daniela Schechter and Emily Wein in singles play.

The Eagles improved to 4-1 on the season with the victories during the day.  Emory is now 3-0 against Division III teams this season, and has not lost a singles or doubles match to a Division III opponent in the spring season.

Emory will return to action on Tuesday at 3:30 PM, as the Eagles will host NAIA institution Auburn University - Montgomery.
