Senior guard Whit Rapp helped the Emory men's basketball team to a pair of conference wins on the road.
Rapp averaged a team-high 8.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals in victories over NYU and Brandeis.
In a 73-69 decision over the Violets of NYU, Rapp dished out six assists, grabbed a team-high seven boards and and came up with three steals in 38 minutes of action. His steal with 11 ticks left in the game stymied a NYU possession that could have allowed them to tie the game and set up a couple of free throws by Gebereal Baitey to close out the game's scoring. He followed that performance with a 10-assists afternoon in a 90-57 verdict over Brandeis, his second double-figure effort of the year in that category.
A starter in all 10 games that he has appeared in this season, Rapp is averaging a team-leading 7.6 assists per comtest.
