Vraj Patel recaps Sunday's round of golf during the team's trip to Scotland
I'm not quite sure the squad was expecting the treat we got at Kingsbarns Golf Club. Kingsbarns is home to the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship every October. Upon arriving we all looked at each other and just gave each other the "Yeah, this is gonna be amazing" look. And it was that and more. While it provided a traditional stern test of Scottish links golf, the views from the course were anything but traditional. The Kingsbarns teebox provided glorious views that made you just stop and stare before attempting to hit your tee shots into the howling 40+ mph winds. Several Eagles played very well in the conditions and I was able to tie my career low of 68. We are looking forward to take on the toughest challenge in links golf in the form of Carnoustie on Monday!
