Sam Galloway recaps Saturday's golf action
Saturday was survival of the fittest for the Emory Golf Team. The venue was Crail, the world's 7th oldest golf club. Play started on Balcomie, a short 5,800 yards course that showed its teeth on a blustery day. Andrew DiPetrillo paced the team with a tidy round of even par 69, continuing his strong performance on the trip. The afternoon round at Craighead proved to be the greatest test yet, as winds gusted at a 40 mph clip. Matt Organisak rifled off 4 birdies en route to a 74, as ominous storms crept in from the westerly direction. Overall the Eagles fought hard and are looking forward to tackling Kingsbarns next.
The Emory golf team eagerly awaits Saturday's action at the Crail Course.
