Davis Hingtgen recaps Friday's action that saw the squad play on the Castle Course at St. Andrews.
The Emory Men's Golf team flew in safely to Scotland and hopped straight on to the links Friday. The Eagles began their week-long trip to Scotland by playing the Castle Course at St. Andrews. The Castle Course proved to be a fantastic track and a tough test, as we started our round in a steady rain with heavy winds throughout. But then the clouds cleared and the course's seaside location on the Firth of Forth provided majestic views for us all day.
Sophomore Logan Ryan was today's standout with a sizzling 32 on the back nine. The team will continue our trip at the Crail Golfing Society with 36 holes on Saturday.
