Senior Liz Arnold had an outstanding week in goal for the Eagles. She posted a 0.34 goals-against average and made 11 saves for a .917 save percentage as Emory went 0-0-3 during the week. Arnold began the week on Tuesday with a fantastic performance against Division I Kennesaw St, one of the best outings in her career. She tied a career-high with eight saves in the game including a few great diving saves to help Emory earn the 1-1 tie with the Owls. In the following game against top-10 Brandeis University, she made three saves and recorded her 5th shutout of the season as the Eagles tied the Judges 0-0. She finished out the weekend with a clean first half against NYU where she did not have to make a save. Emory went on to tie the Violets 1-1.
