Behind a strong group of senior competitors, mixed with an infusion of young and talented athletes, the Emory University men’s outdoor track and field team scored at the NCAA Division III Championships and recorded its fourth-consecutive top-three finish at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships in 2010.

The Emory University men’s and women’s track and field teams were recognized as All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (UTSFCCCA), based on the team members’ performance in the classroom during the 2009-10 season.
Emory Track Names Madeleine Outman Assistant Coach

Emory University head track and field coach John Curtin has announced the appointment of Madeleine Outman as assistant coach. Outman will begin her duties on August 12.
Emory Athletic Facilties Undergoing Major Renovations

People entering the Woodruff PE Center on the Emory campus will see and and hear the signs of construction including bulldozers, jackhammers, shovels and sledgehammers as a pair of widely-used facilities undergo major renovations.

(Track & Field) Emory University’s Alex Greenhouse recorded the first automatic qualifying time of the season by an Eagle, while competing at the Gregory Invitational. Greenhouse won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.59 seconds, the second-fastest time in the event in school history. [more]
