Sophomore Matt Schner paced the Emory scoring attack in the team's South Region victory over LaGrange College.
The 6-foot-4 Schner produced a season-high 24 points as the Eagles subdued the Panthers by a 96-87 margin. Matt connected on nine-of-13 field goal attempts, including three-of-five from beyond the arc, and sank three free throws in registering his fifth double-figure scoring performance of the campaign. In addition to his point total, Schner ranked second on the club with a season-high tying nine rebounds.
Through eight games, Schner stands fourth on the team in scoring average (11.3 ppg) and is second in rebounding (6.8 rpg).
