Jim Gordon

Jim Gordon ranked as the Emory men's basketball team's  leading scorer over a pair of UAA road games.

Gordon averaged 17.0 points and shot 50 percent (15 of 30) from the floor in battles against Brandeis and New York University.  In addition, he tied for the No. 2 spot on the club in rebounding (5.0 rpg).
Gordon paced the squad's scoring attack with a 21-point effort in a 67-59 setback to Brandeis, ending that game by sinking nine-of-17 field goals including three triples in eight attempts. It was the third time this year that he finished as the Eagles' leading point producer and his third of 20 or more points.  He closed out the weekend with 13 points, his 13th consecutive and 19th overall double-figure scoring performance of the season, in an 80-79 loss to NYU.

On the year, Gordon has started all 20 Emory games and is second on the team's scoresheet in scoring average (15.0 ppg).  He is second in three-point field goals (44) and fourth in rebounding (4.2 rpg).
