Freshman Logan Ryan helped the No. 1-ranked Emory golf team to a first-place finish at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational in Sandestin, Florida. The 54-hole tourney was played at the 6,659-yard, par-71 Raven Golf Club.
Ryan paced the Emory contingent over the final round, shooting a four-under 67 that left him as the Eagles' top performer for the Invitational with a five-under par 208 (67-74-67), good for fourth place in the 90-player field as well as the program's second-best individual mark ever for a three-round tournament.
So far this season, Logan stands second on the squad in scoring average with an effort of 71.9 strokes over 12 rounds of play. He has shot par or better in six rounds.
